I got my New Moon tickets for opening night. Yep, I did. I figure if I’m outing myself as a Twilight Mom, I may as well go in 100%. The guy at the counter told me only 54 seats were left. And that was an entire week before opening night. So I better get there early for a good seat. Oh the “Twilight Mom, Team Edward teen” SQUEEEE should be at an all time froth that night. I sure can’t seem to beat it, so join it I will, laughing at myself the entire way. Oy…

Loved the books, read them all in a week, needless to say some neglected children and a messy house at the end of my little saga.. However the first movied killed my ‘vision’ of how beautiful the characters were in my mind particularly Edward. That being said my preconcepted images are already ruined. I have not become startstruck over any of the characters in the movies but still would love to see New Moon!

Caroline you are an awesome writer you could totally write some fabulous novels and probably become famous too. You have a way with words that draw you in and keep you reading…

How amazing is that! I *love* it when famous people have good stories!

I was also completely consumed by those books…but I can’t bring myself to watch the movies…I just don’t see how they can compare!

BTW, my mom is hooked and just finished reading New Moon. It’s fun to relive the books with her as she reads them.

Ha! I love you!

I fall into this category. Though I’m a Reluctant Twilight Mom. I was forced to read it (by it, of course, I mean all four books) by two of my friends. I like the storyline but NOT the writing. HIDEOUS writing. AWFUL writing. That said, one mother of one of those friends bought the lot of us tickets to opening night of New Moon. I have refused to watch the first movie just yet as I think whateverhisnameis that plays Edward is severely unattractive. I suppose I should watch it before New Moon movie is released.

I suppose.
